I was 0-2 in the football contest and I thought I knew something about football, I don’t follow the movies much, is Steven Seagal up for any award? (HA HA) just kidding. If you get a list I’ll take a guess, can’t go worse than 0-2. See you in sunny Florida. It’s a balmy 12 degrees here in Maine. By the way You guys don’t need any high priced Free Agents, all you need is some MOXIE.

In order to make up for my pitifully pitiful football performance, I’ll throw my hat into the Oscar ring.

Best Actor: Sidney Crosby. That guy takes more dives than Greg Louganis. (Real pick: Mickey Rourke.)

Best Actress: Sidney (Cindy?) Crosby. Sidney’s less than physical play and his crying lead some to believe he’s the NHL’s first female player. (Real Pick: Kate Winslet.)

Best Supporting Actress: Felipe Lopez’ wife, Jennifer. She’s the only reason I would ever want to think of Felipe again. ( (Real Pick: Penelope Cruz.)

Best Supporting Actor: Wil the Thril Nieves. The more than capable back up to Jesus is my wife’s favorite National. And one of mine, too. (Real Pick: Heath Ledger.)

Best Picture: Collin Balester. Wait…what? Oh.. Best Picture. Thought it said Best Pitcher. (Do I win based on the suck-up points alone, bro?) (Real Pick: Slumdog Millionaire.)

Oh, I’m looking forward to your Q & A with the Washington Post on Wednesday. The Nationals Journal is full of some hard-core fans. Should be fun.

  22. section138

Allright, bro…it looks like there was a four way tie. Myself, Yankeefan28, Kaingo, and TrebleKicker each got one wrong. No one had a perfect ballot.
How are you going to break the tie, dude?
Oh, in case you didn’t see the Caps/Penguins game yesterday, Crosby was acting up a storm. Ton of lip moving, and complaining. Not much hockey being played. Best actor? For sure, says I.
